Top Seven Saturday: 7 Contemporaries I Am Stoked to Read

I have decided to start a series on this blog called Top Seven Saturday. It will be me saying my top 7 of something. I will try to do these as often as possible.

This week the topic is 7 Contemporaries I Am Stoked to Read.

Lets Begin!

  1. The Peaches Trilogy by Jodi Lynn Anderson
This series is about a group of unlikely friends who live in Georgia, and their escapades over the summer.

  2. The Summer Trilogy by Jenny Han
This Trilogy is about a girl who has gone to a beach house for many summers, and there are two boys that go are also there whenever she is. One summer the girl "turns pretty" and the boys start to notice her in that way. Drama ensues.
  3. The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider
This one is about a boy (I know a boy main character WHAT?!) and he was the perfect high school boy, but then he shatters his leg, and his life changes. He meets a girl, and she shows him life, and love.
  4. The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Another book that takes place in the summer. Girl meets boy. Girl already has boyfriend, but he is away at brain camp. She likes new boy. Drama.

  5. Amy and Rodger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
A girl named Amy's family is moving from the west coast to the east coast, and she has to drive the family car. The only problem is that she hasn't driven since her dad died in a car crash. So she goes with a boy named Rodger who drives, and they have a connection. I LOVE road trip books.
  6. The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
A girl has always been wary of rich people. She meets a boy, but *gasp* he is rich. She likes him, and has to close the distance between them.
  7. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
A girl goes to her summer lake house, and her former best friend and  first boyfriend are still there. She has to  confront what tore them apart. Oh! and if you were wondering the boy is a lot cuter now than when she dated him. She gets a second chance at love, family, and friends.

I hope you enjoyed my first Top 7 Saturday, and that you are excited for more to come.
